Wise Keleoaloha Richards, Affectionately Known As "Richard", Born October 3, 1933 Entered Into Eternal Rest On April 16, 2012. Richard, The Youngest Son Of 7 Children Was Born In Honolulu, Hawaii To The Late Paul And Alice Richards. He Attended The Honolulu Schools Until Joining The U.s. Army, Where He Valiantly Served In The Korean War And Was Awarded The Purple Heart And Bronze Medal. Richard Worked In The Moving Industry And Lived In West Sacramento, California For Several Years. He Spent His Final Days In The Loving Care Of His Niece And Nephew, Daniel And Ramona Kelly In Sacramento. Richard Was Very Active Throughout His Life And Loved Bicycle Riding, Fishing, Scuba Diving, Football, Jazz And Dining Out. Those Left To Cherish Fond Memories Of Richard Are His Wife Monika Mitan Of San Francisco, California, His Three Children, Gerald Kaleoaloha (Nancy), Of Zion, Illinois, Eunice Leilani Stringer (Marty), Of Columbia, South Carolina And Wendell Leoloke (Donna) Of Memphis, Tennessee, 17 Grandchildren And 7 Great Grandchildren. He Is Survived By One Sister, Vennie P. Brodo Of Hilo, Hawaii And A Host Of Nieces, Nephews And Friends. Final Services Will Be Held At The National Cemetery Of The Pacific (Punch Bowl) In Honolulu, Hawaii.
