Virginia Duran, born in Roseville, California, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at the age of 91.
Born on October 13, 1933, in Roseville, Virginia dedicated her life to her family and her work.
She retired from Sutter Roseville Hospital after 26 years of service as an Environmental Technician, where her hard work and dedication were deeply appreciated.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Duran; her daughter, Kristine Duran; and her son, Gregory Duran. She is survived by her daughters Phyllis Lew, son-in-law Eugene Lew and Michelle Duran. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Nick, Savannah, Jacob, Bradley, Brianne, Mickayla, John-Michael, Jessica, Jennifer, David, Katlynn, and Tabitha.
Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Virginia found joy in dancing and attending plays and musicals. Above all else, she treasured time spent with family and friends. Her warmth and love touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Rosary will be held on January 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at St. Rose Parish, located at 615 Vine Avenue in Roseville. Interment will follow at Roseville Public Cemetery, 421 Berry Street in Roseville.
