Betty FallonBetty Fallon, 88, was born on August 5, 1937, in Minnesota and peacefully passed away on February 19, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Betty was a longtime and cherished resident of West Sacramento, where she built a life rooted in family, service, and community.

Betty dedicated over 30 years of her professional life to the Yolo County Department of Social Services. Through her work, she quietly and faithfully served countless individuals and families, always guided by compassion, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. Her career reflected her generous spirit and her belief in helping others.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Fallon, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ailie Salmi, and son James Robert Fallon.

Betty's greatest pride and joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Barbara Fallon; her brother, Frank Alexander Salmi; her grandchildren, Chris Fallon, Lisa Valencia, Keith Fallon, and Richard Fallon; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Veronica Fallon, Adam Valencia, Gabby Fallon, Cecilia Fallon, Abel Fallon, and Leo Fallon. Her legacy lives on in each of them — in their laughter, their strength, and their love for one another.

Betty will be remembered for her steady kindness, quiet resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She found happiness in simple moments — time spent with family, meaningful conversations, and the comfort of home. Her warmth and gentle presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her.

Betty will be laid to rest on March 4, 2026. Viewing at River City Funeral Chapel will be held at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery (800 West St, Woodland, CA 95695).

Her life was a beautiful example of dedication, love, and quiet strength. Though she has left this world, the love she gave so freely remains — enduring and everlasting.
