June Ann Otten August 31, 1952 – April 17, 2026 With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce that June passed from this world into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded in love by family and friends. She obediently answered God's call to come home on April, 17th. She was preceded in death by the loss of her twin girls in March, 1970. June leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Alan. Both Alan and June grew up in Broderick, Ca. She also leaves behind her sister, Raquel Williams of Dayton, NV., and three children and their spouses. Aimee and Donny Schlie of Kuna, ID., Kirsten and Jeff Lyon of Colfax, CA., and Joseph Otten of West Sacramento. June had five grandchildren: Matthew and Joseph Schlie, Erika Robinson, Maleeya and Taylor Lyon. She had one great grandchild, Liam Robinson and a great granddaughter on the way. June's life was an example of great faith in Jesus and perseverance in the midst of struggles, both physical and mental. She so humbly accepted what grace God gave her and built a life of love and gratitude for her family to carry with them always. She brought fun and good food to all our celebrations and her wonderful recipes will live on through each of her children and grandchildren she so thoughtfully and lovingly taught them to. She is the golden thread that runs through the tapestry of each of our lives. None of us have been untouched by her love. She will be missed so much, by so many, and there will not be a day we will not think of her until we are all together again.
