Gregory John Rinaldi, 74, of West Sacramento, passed away on June 28, 2026. He was born in San Francisco on February 11, 1952 to Robert John Rinaldi and Betty Mae Wells Rinaldi, the oldest of identical twin boys. Greg is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Fagan Rinaldi, daughter, Cynthia Marie Rinaldi Bartlett, (David) and son, Gregory John Rinaldi (Heather) and 15 grandchildren -- Daniel, Darren, Alexandria (Colin), Alyssa (Chris), Sarah, Jon, Adam, Brian, Delilah, Lilybeth, Annabelle, Avalyn, Jesse, David, and Noah. Four great grandchildren: Eli, Madi, Ben, and Kenna; and many foster children. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Jeffrey Rinaldi, and granddaughter Alexandria Rinaldi. Greg graduated from James Marshall High School in 1970 and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He continued in his education, earning a Ph.D. in Theology from Columbia State University in 1998. A devoted servant of God, Greg built our home on faith and his life was a living testimony. He led his family and church with grace, leaving a beautiful spiritual legacy to guide all who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his wisdom, great advice, and godly example will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. A celebration of life service will be held at River Cities Funeral Chapel in West Sacramento on July 20, 2026 at 11 am.
